Biography:

Alicia CoteAlicia Côté has only been playing table tennis competitively for about 8 years, but she has already appeared in her first senior international event, having been a member of the Canadian squad that competed at the World Team Cup in Dubai in January. She followed that with a trip to the Canada Winter Games in Prince George where she won mixed doubles gold and singles bronze. In 2014 she won the U15 singles title at the national championships and competed at the ITTF World Junior Championships. She also won the Quebec provincial title in the U15 division while finishing third in the U18 division. Côté began to believe she could be competitive on the international scene after she defeated the 11th ranked girl in the world in her age group and then came within a hair of beating the 10th ranked girl.
